To be a student

you must firstly start with nothing and expect to end with nothing. A degree really is a piece of paper, if your lucky its laminated and serves no purpose other than to make your mum smile for a couple of days and stop hassling you to do something with your life. Dad's and degrees have a similar relationship to that of a hammer and a door handle, they exist happily but neither really gives a shit about the other.
